Refresh a User's Authentication Token without the Validic User ID

Q: If I have lost my user's Validic ID and only kept the user's unique identification when I provisioned him to Validic, can I still refresh my user's authentication token or user's access token?

Yes. Using several Validic API calls, you are able to refresh a user's authentication token even if you only have your user's UID as a reference. The first problem you need to solve is getting your user's Validic User ID. Please refer to the article Retrieving a Mapping of Validic User IDs with UIDs to do this.

The response will only include the user's Validic User ID, but that will enable you to retrieve a new User Authentication Token for your user with the refresh_token.json API call:
