Delayed Withings Data

Q: Why is my data logged through Withings devices available later than expected in the Validic API?

Although pulling Withings biometrics, weight, and routine data are almost in real-time there are instances when the expected records are delayed in our API. The cause of the delay was because the measurements logged using the Withings device were initially classified as unassigned within the Withings account and then later assigned to their right owner or user. This usually occurs when a single Withings account has several users or family members associated with it but only has a single Withings device. When this happens Withings does not push out a notification to Validic and the data will then be retrieved later during Validic's scheduled reconciliation jobs after the measurement has been assigned within the Withings account.
